Robinho de Salles was a little too slow when Clóvis Camargo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. Valdo Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute Natã Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Quintal in the 43rd minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Gustavo Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Tavares in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Ceresso. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when Bezerros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdo Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Tavares in the 61st minute of play. Clóvis Camargo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Paranaense in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Leonel Paranaense recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Fernando Peixoto. Leonel Paranaense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Paranaense in the 72nd minute. Robinho de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute Dino Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Robinho de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natã Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a huge save. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Quintal in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto got control of the ball when Leonel Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line.
