The referee ignored Bonita's protests and gave Adalberto Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. Léo Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Samuca Pontes sent off a good shot on target. Jean Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Walaszkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ booed when Bonita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Pontes couldn't finish the play. If Adalberto Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuca Pontes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Benê Gonçalves's late challenge caught a ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benê Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. Samuca Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Léo Tinoco made a huge save. Léo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos das Neves in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Cezary Walaszkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Renatinho Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
