Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bezerros EC's Claudinho do Vale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Alex Arantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bezerros EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino do Vale in the 14th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Almir Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Travassos in the 31st minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alex Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bezerros EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Bezerros EC from getting a goal against them. After the first half Bezerros EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júnior Quintana to make the kick off. Dino do Vale took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fernando Peixoto. Luiz Fernando Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Travassos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Fábio Pinheiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alex Arantes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play. Raimundo Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Luiz Fernando Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Travassos in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Gremio NG booed when Bezerros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Clóvis Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio NG's zone, Clóvis Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Pinheiro came out of the goal and Clóvis Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Camargo in the 90th minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bezerros EC's Claudinho do Vale. But to his dismay, Claudinho do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Bezerros EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gremio NG.
