Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinícius Servaes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute Nova Venécia-ES were awarded a corner. Valdo Diniz went to the cornerflag to take it. Valdo Diniz made a great header on Nova Venécia-ES's corner, it was just that Diamante Negro DK - VV's João Pedro Alvarenga managed to reach the ball for a save. Diamante Negro DK - VV's João Pedro Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Diamante Negro DK - VV from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Tavares came free, but João Pedro Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Gustavo Botelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Alvarenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Leonel Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Venécia-ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Pedro Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 91st minute. Nova Venécia-ES played a much better game than Diamante Negro DK - VV and deserved their victory. The Diamante Negro DK - VV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
