In the 14th minute Alex Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Saldanha in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bonita's Fellipe Sá got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Bezerros EC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Bonita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Léo Tinoco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho do Vale made a kick off. Claudinho do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Tinoco having to interfere. With a little luck, Bonita's Léo Tinoco got control of the ball when Maurício Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Maurício Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bezerros EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Miranda couldn't finish the play. Claudinho do Vale took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Tinoco. Léo Tinoco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 65th minute, Bezerros EC's Claudinho do Vale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Léo Tinoco was a little too slow when Clóvis Camargo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-7. Léo Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léo Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurício Miranda in the 75th minute. Léo Tinoco was a little too slow when Clóvis Camargo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-8. Bonita's Cezary Walaszkiewicz managed to work through Bezerros EC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cezary Walaszkiewicz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Alex Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Claudinho do Vale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Léo Tinoco. The goal made the score 0-9. Bezerros EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
