In the 12thth minute of the game Konstanty Koczara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poland's Tolek Kiszkiel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Wit Gecionis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harry Maguire might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedykt Kolacki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry Maguire ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Poland's Tadeusz Raschke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedykt Kolacki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benedykt Kolacki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Jestrimski in the 28th minute of play forced 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's goalkeeper Benedykt Kolacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Benedykt Kolacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Raschke in the 37th minute of play. Poland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Lipinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. When the match was over Poland could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA throughout the match.
