Atletico Nacional FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Felipe Varela came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by KIA KAHA's Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos. But to his dismay, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that Sataporn Snabl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Varela was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, KIA KAHA's Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Felipe Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Fabio Santilli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernad Albino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 38 minute of play. Felipe Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sataporn Snabl's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, KIA KAHA's Karl-Erik Lind got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The long shot by Januário Monteiro in the 45th minute really tested Fabio Santilli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Felipe Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When KIA KAHA's Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Nacional FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Atletico Nacional FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KIA KAHA were winning 2-3.

Fabio Santilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Villarias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felipe Varela, 2-4. In the 55th match minute, KIA KAHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Bernad Albino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Virga in the 64th minute of play forced KIA KAHA's goalkeeper Fabio Santilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletico Nacional FC's Felipe Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Glanselius in the 78th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, KIA KAHA's Daniel Glanselius made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atletico Nacional FC's Felipe Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Nacional FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicklas Smitt got free with Felipe Varela in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Atletico Nacional FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marcos Villarias hit a great ball. Daniel Glanselius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Nicklas Smitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KIA KAHA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
