Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Imperio Cordobés FC's Isaias Fonda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Argentina's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Rogelio Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benedicto Naelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tales Falcão was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 8thth minute of the game Benedicto Naelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Nevada struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Tales Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentina. In the 11th minute Benedicto Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Naelio scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tales Falcão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Duarte in the 16th minute of play. Tales Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Naelio in the 19th minute of the match. Argentina's Vicente Nevada got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Argentina's Benedicto Naelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Falcão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Perutxo in the 35th minute of play forced Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Imperio Cordobés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Naelio came free, but Tales Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Argentina got a corner. Imperio Cordobés FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gregorio Urtsin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Argentina's corner Benedicto Ramond fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tales Falcão quite easily take care of the ball. In the 39th minute, Benedicto Ramond made a precise shot to the right of Tales Falcão. Imperio Cordobés FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 41st minute Sabino Brites shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argentina's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Brites in the 43rd minute of play. Miguel Reyes made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Martin Jordy however managed to control. The Imperio Cordobés FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Argentina were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Naelio to strike the kick off in the second half. Tales Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Jordy kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Imperio Cordobés FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. David Quinton hit a great ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Imperio Cordobés FC's Rogelio Duarte got a free kick in the 60th minute. Argentina's Armando Felipillo was substituted for Abelardo Perutxo. Argentina's Gogo Gabrio was substituted for Vicente Nevada. In the 61st match minute, Imperio Cordobés FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Tales Falcão made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Amado Arotza sent off a good shot on target. Argentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gregorio Urtsin in the 70th minute. The supporters of Argentina booed when Imperio Cordobés FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Mel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Amado Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Arotza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Argentina's Tales Falcão threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Santana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90thth minute of the game Amado Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Arotza got free with Tales Falcão in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tales Falcão was a little too slow when Amado Arotza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-4. Argentina's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
