The crowd rose to their feet as Malcolm Stenman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeusz Bielatowicz. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Baron Yu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tadeusz Bielatowicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 15thth minute of the game Malcolm Stenman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COSMOS's Tadeusz Bielatowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amancio Ponc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Ryszard Cempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian Piczak kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Tadeusz Bielatowicz stood somewhat misplaced when Malcolm Stenman came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malcolm Stenman in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeusz Bielatowicz saved COSMOS from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, one of COSMOS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. COSMOS:s Tadeusz Bielatowicz showed great skill when he stopped Malcolm Stenman:s penalty. With a little luck, COSMOS's Tadeusz Bielatowicz got control of the ball when Malcolm Stenman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Deportivo Turro's Qi Sheng Chong to fire away a dangerous shot which Tadeusz Bielatowicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Malcolm Stenman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Malcolm Stenman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Bielatowicz was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

53 minutes into the game, Malcolm Stenman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tadeusz Bielatowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Deportivo Turro's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Cempa came free, but Germán Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the COSMOS defense, Malcolm Stenman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeusz Bielatowicz. The COSMOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeusz Bielatowicz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, COSMOS's Florian Piczak got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Ryszard Cempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azli Lim got free with Germán Luz in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Malcolm Stenman sped through COSMOS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeusz Bielatowicz. Deportivo Turro's Pedrinho Moreira was substituted for Wilton Queirós. Tadeusz Bielatowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Ponc in the 83rd minute of the match. Tadeusz Bielatowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
