Lorenzo Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A very good chance for a goal. Ludwig Kamper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Medina made a huge save. After having played for 35 minutes, Ludwig Kamper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fura Balizas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Kamper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Gusmão Benevides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Fura Balizas getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gusmão Benevides hit a great ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Ludwig Kamper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fura Balizas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Kamper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Thornbury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Medina should have stopped the shot. Thornbury's Lorenzo Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Kamper in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Ludwig Kamper made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Thornbury's Lorenzo Medina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorenzo Medina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. FC Fura Balizas's Cândido Cabral was substituted for Mario Azeari. After 92 minutes of play, FC Fura Balizas's Eugeniusz Sanocki made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Fura Balizas had won after a very even match.
