Gregorio Ruiz took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anfilogino Conte. Anfilogino Conte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ali Nejat Atay kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Antonio Romino made a precise shot to the right of Anfilogino Conte. 1930 Bafraspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. It was a well-played corner which Rahman Kabadayı managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the 1930 Bafraspor defense, Fabiano Perdigão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anfilogino Conte. The 1930 Bafraspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anfilogino Conte should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Gregorio Ruiz made a precise shot to the right of Anfilogino Conte. 1930 Bafraspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. A collision led to 1930 Bafraspor getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rahman Kabadayı hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Antonio Romino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Anfilogino Conte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anfilogino Conte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdal Tamkoç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göktürk Semin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The wind increased when Gregorio Ruiz made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Romino in the 52nd minute of play forced 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Anfilogino Conte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Conte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the match AYYILDIZ got a corner. 1930 Bafraspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alp Arslan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AYYILDIZ's corner Ege Tunçsoy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anfilogino Conte quite easily take care of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Gregorio Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anfilogino Conte. 1930 Bafraspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Antonio Romino succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. Göktürk Semin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdal Tamkoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Erdal Tamkoç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Semin having to interfere. When Leo Richie came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the AYYILDIZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Richie couldn't finish the play. In the 89th match minute, AYYILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Perdigão to maneuver through the defense.
