Szentgotthárd:s Ákos Sugár showed great skill when he stopped Wen Nan Fan:s penalty. 37 minutes into the game, Wen Nan Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ákos Sugár was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40 played minutes Szentgotthárd got a freekick which was hit by Gergely Hámori. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Werner Uhl in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ákos Sugár prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zakariás Tótfalusi had several of the AC DeMiRHaN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Anson Anthony as he didn't even see the shot coming. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Werner Uhl to strike the kick off in the second half. Anson Anthony showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zakariás Tótfalusi in the 58th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, AC DeMiRHaN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Tokarczyk to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Gergely Hámori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anson Anthony saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AC DeMiRHaN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC DeMiRHaN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
