The referee ignored Szentgotthárd's protests and gave Lóránt Fazekas a yellow card for diving instead. Lóránt Fazekas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Puskás in the 16th minute of play forced Vingadores F.C U23's goalkeeper Juliusz Kaczeniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Vingadores F.C U23's Juliane Álvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ákos Sugár narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juliane Álvarez was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Vingadores F.C U23's Juliane Álvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ákos Sugár made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gergely Hámori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Kaczeniak having to interfere. Zakariás Tótfalusi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Juliusz Kaczeniak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 65th minute of the match Szentgotthárd got a corner. Vingadores F.C U23's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lóránt Fazekas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Szentgotthárd's Lóránt Fazekas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juliusz Kaczeniak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ákos Sugár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliane Álvarez in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Ákos Sugár, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Szentgotthárd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ákos Sugár should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Szentgotthárd's Juliusz Kaczeniak threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zakariás Tótfalusi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szentgotthárd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Fábio Dantas made a great header on Vingadores F.C U23's corner, it was just that Szentgotthárd's Ákos Sugár managed to reach the ball for a save.
