The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Romário in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Neves saved Xipoko from getting behind. Xipoko's Alfredo Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Romário in the 7th minute of play. When Vingadores F.C U23's Bebeto Romário in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xipoko's goalie prevented a goal. Juliane Álvarez took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Neves. Alfredo Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Andre Piovezan kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Bebeto Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliane Álvarez in the 24th minute of the match. Paulo Renato Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Alfredo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Romário in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xipoko's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Fábio Dantas was slow to take the kick. During this time Vingadores F.C U23's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Vingadores F.C U23's corner Luiz Fábio Dantas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Neves quite easily take care of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Xipoko's goal looked a bit too open when Juliane Álvarez came free, but Alfredo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bebeto Romário had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Romário, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Vingadores F.C U23's Bebeto Romário in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alfredo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Romário, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Vingadores F.C U23 booed when Xipoko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Vingadores F.C U23's Juliane Álvarez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Vingadores F.C U23 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cícero Cruz was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Vingadores F.C U23 got a freekick which was hit by Andre Piovezan. Elton John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Neves having to interfere. Xipoko's Alfredo Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Romário in the 56th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Vingadores F.C U23's Bebeto Romário made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bebeto Branco hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Vingadores F.C U23's Leandro Paulista quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paulo Renato Moreira, made in the 62nd minute of the game. Rafinha Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, Vingadores F.C U23's Juliane Álvarez made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vingadores F.C U23 made a substitution. Elói Donato replaced Bebeto Romário. After a rather tough play, Xipoko's Paulo Renato Moreira got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a little luck, Xipoko's Alfredo Neves got control of the ball when Elói Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Moreira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vingadores F.C U23's Elton John quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Xipoko defense, Elói Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Neves. The Xipoko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Neves should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Vingadores F.C U23's Elói Donato dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 86th minute of the game Paulo Renato Moreira made a throw-in which Tiaguinho Salles played forward. In the 89th minute, Vingadores F.C U23's Elói Donato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Neves. Alfredo Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Bebeto Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Neves having to interfere. Alfredo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Xipoko getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mauro de Moraes hit a great ball. Alfredo Neves acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luiz Fábio Dantas. When the match was over Vingadores F.C U23 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Xipoko throughout the match.
