Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. J.P. Kapar started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Roncourt booed when Szentgotthárd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bálint Battai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute Léon Cailleaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ákos Sugár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szentgotthárd's Ákos Sugár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léon Cailleaux in the 6th minute of play. Léon Cailleaux took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ákos Sugár. Ákos Sugár dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Szentgotthárd's Zakariás Tótfalusi got a free kick in the 12th minute. Léon Cailleaux took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ákos Sugár. Ákos Sugár dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Szentgotthárd defense, Léon Cailleaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ákos Sugár. The Szentgotthárd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ákos Sugár should have stopped the shot. Léon Cailleaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ákos Sugár read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szentgotthárd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. J.P. Kapar was slow to take the kick. During this time Roncourt's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that J.P. Kapar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ákos Sugár quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. J.P. Kapar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ákos Sugár having to make a save. Léon Cailleaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ákos Sugár read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Roncourt were awarded a corner. J.P. Kapar went to the cornerflag to take it. Ákos Sugár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léon Cailleaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Léon Cailleaux scored 0-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ákos Sugár, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zakariás Tótfalusi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Léon Cailleaux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szentgotthárd's Ákos Sugár was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romuald Benaissa replaced Horácio Larreta. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Marc Kazmierczak during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 minutes, Jean-Marc Kazmierczak made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Szentgotthárd's Ákos Sugár tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Roncourt eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
