With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Pacho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cha Fe FC's Anibal Abar got a free kick in the 9th minute. Xavi Iniesta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Franco Sampler came out and tried to block the shot, but Xavi Iniesta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Cha Fe FC's Hegoi Griful got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the match Mercado Paulista F.C got a corner. Cha Fe FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Atilano Acosta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mercado Paulista F.C's Franco Sampler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mercado Paulista F.C from getting a goal against them. Cristian de Lima scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Pacho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian de Lima scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Pacho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian de Lima in the 46th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cha Fe FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mercado Paulista F.C were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Mikelar was the one to do the kick off. Elvio Pacho came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mercado Paulista F.C's Kent Lindberg. But to his dismay, Kent Lindberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Elvio Pacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hegoi Griful had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cha Fe FC made a substitution. 孟鹰泉 replaced Teobaldo Phelipe. After some careless play in the Cha Fe FC defense, Kent Lindberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Pacho. The Cha Fe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Pacho should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Kent Lindberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Pacho was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cha Fe FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atilano Acosta was slow to take the kick. During this time Mercado Paulista F.C's players had a chance to rest. During the 73rd minute of the match Anibal Abar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anibal Abar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Cha Fe FC's Anibal Abar got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Kent Lindberg made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Pacho. Cha Fe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. 77 minutes into the match, Hans Doss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elvio Pacho, 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Lindberg got free with Elvio Pacho in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Cha Fe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Mikelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Kent Lindberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Lindberg in the 88th minute of play. Elvio Pacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Lindberg in the 93rd minute of the match. Franco Sampler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孟鹰泉 in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mercado Paulista F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
