Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Siqueira in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Israel Vidal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Malm to make the kick off. Emil Chwalkiewicz struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Amauri Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Siqueira took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Jens-Ove Malm heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jens-Ove Malm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Jens-Ove Malm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan was substituted for Marcos Siqueira. 76 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Malm notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Jens-Ove Malm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After having played for 88 minutes, Jens-Ove Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ove Malm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birol Celilay hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Mugur Chiriac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Chiriac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Anselmo Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
