Thiago Neves was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Belo Alvarez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Amauri Félix skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 23rd minute of play. Jens-Ove Malm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Bingen Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leroy Antunez charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leroy Antunez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leroy Antunez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amauri Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belo Alvarez in the 40th minute. When Jens-Ove Malm came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ove Malm couldn't finish the play. Belo Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Amauri Félix made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Vadillos in the 46th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Vadillos in the 51st minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Ove Malm. Alcorcón's Manolo Bacete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amauri Félix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
