A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Malm came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match Club Atlético Atlanta got a corner. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Chwalkiewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 12th minute, Marcos Berdoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's zone, Mugur Chiriac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Félix came out of the goal and Mugur Chiriac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 23rd minute of play. Jens-Ove Malm scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Mugur Chiriac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Chiriac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 33rd minute of play. Amauri Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 34th minute. Fabio Artaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Artaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mugur Chiriac was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Jens-Ove Malm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Rosendo Cutberto put in a rough tackle. 56 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jens-Ove Malm might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pankracy Glogowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Ove Malm ran back to his position shaking his head. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Malm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pankracy Glogowski.
