Aristides Dabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Franco Sampler made a huge save. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reyes F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Isusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 minutes of play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Cristian de Lima made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Isusko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bonifacio Tartalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Franco Sampler made a huge save. Fernando Isusko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian de Lima's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Mercado Paulista F.C's Cristian de Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Aristides Dabi took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Franco Sampler to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the match, Reyes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian de Lima came free, but Fernando Isusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mercado Paulista F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Aristides Dabi scored to the left of an out of position Franco Sampler, making the score, 2-2. Franco Sampler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Tartalo in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute of the game Ceferino Heli made a throw-in which Celedonio Rioja played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Mercado Paulista F.C's zone, Bonifacio Tartalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Sampler came out of the goal and Bonifacio Tartalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

54 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Dabi came free, but Franco Sampler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Sampler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reyes F.C.'s Bonifacio Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Lindberg in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Dabi in the 60th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Franco Sampler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Fuente kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's La Fuente got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Franco Sampler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Ucedo in the 63rd minute of play. Reyes F.C.'s Pablo Enol was substituted for Bonifacio Tartalo. After 67 played minutes Mercado Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Hans Doss. Reyes F.C.'s Fernando Isusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Lindberg in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Enol in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Sampler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the game, Ceferino Heli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mercado Paulista F.C's Hans Doss quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 96 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Enol came free, but Franco Sampler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Reyes F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
