The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 minutes of play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Amerigo Gervasi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Tropchev was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Amerigo Gervasi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 18 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Cesaro came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Urtado who took care of the corner kick. Bacary Ligier made a great header on Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's corner, it was just that Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz managed to reach the ball for a save. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bacary Ligier in the 25th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Dale Dolar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivo Tropchev. Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Dolar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Cesaro to make the kick off. Patricio Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bacary Ligier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Tropchev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dale Dolar in the 56th minute. Ivo Tropchev was a little too slow when Dale Dolar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 4-4. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Wambasther Robben was substituted for Amerigo Gervasi. After 61st play minutes Dale Dolar shot 4-5, a short shot which went by Ivo Tropchev and just under the crossbar into goal.
