Nicolás Henriquez made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Barry Houghton sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Hornsea's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jerónimo Pais fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Dragonf⮊rcE's zone, Leonel Salazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Sesimbra came out of the goal and Leonel Salazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolás Henriquez was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Barry Houghton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barry Houghton really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dragonf⮊rcE's Barry Houghton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolás Henriquez. That made the score 4-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 46th minute, Jose Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Afonso Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Nicolás Henriquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dragonf⮊rcE's Zacarias Sesimbra got control of the ball when Misael Gallegos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolás Henriquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolás Henriquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Zacarias Sesimbra had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Omar Quijada's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Rony Victorino made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jose Rojas however managed to control. After 78 played minutes Hornsea got a freekick which was hit by Omar Quijada. 79 minutes into the game, Karin Benzema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Nicolás Henriquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
