Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augusto Cordario took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvard Fagerberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Javier Pinola made a great header on Velez Sarsfield's corner, it was just that Commander Crowe's Edvard Fagerberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Erwin Huygens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Cordario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Edvard Fagerberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Cordario in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvard Fagerberg saved Commander Crowe from getting behind. Erwin Huygens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Gotzon in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Käcker in the 26th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Erwin Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Commander Crowe's Edvard Fagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute Nicasio Gotzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Gotzon came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Cordario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Commander Crowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Ireno to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Gotzon made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Gotzon came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Cordario struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Edvard Fagerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez Sarsfield. Velez Sarsfield's Erwin Huygens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ireno in the 56th minute of play. Erwin Huygens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyprian Sitko in the 57th minute. Velez Sarsfield's Ando Averin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kristian Saleh in the 59 minute of the game. Cyprian Sitko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Erwin Huygens made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Cyprian Sitko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erwin Huygens. The goal made the score 0-2. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Leandro Berti replaced Ignacio Berenguer. Augusto Cordario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvard Fagerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes Commander Crowe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filomeno Montrell who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Commander Crowe's Alfredo Ireno got a free kick in the 76th minute. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when Commander Crowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sun Zhi Zhen hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Erwin Huygens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Commander Crowe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Velez Sarsfield:s goal. The referee gave Velez Sarsfield a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronan Mistral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Commander Crowe's Edvard Fagerberg. 1-2. Velez Sarsfield's Yiyo Bernal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kristian Saleh, made in the 94th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Augusto Cordario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvard Fagerberg was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Cyprian Sitko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Huygens having to interfere.
