Wei Guang Xing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Buccella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. H4K.BR were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after MONTANHA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Zafiu took the corner. H4K.BR's Martin Zafiu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andres van der Sar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. H4K.BR's Antonio Buccella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Cardozo in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match MONTANHA got a corner. H4K.BR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Cardozo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andres van der Sar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xiao Zhen Yun went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 40 minutes, Claudinho Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. H4K.BR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 43rd minute of play forced H4K.BR's goalkeeper Antonio Buccella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xiao Zhen Yun in the 45th minute.
After having played for 52 minutes, Afonso Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONTANHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xiao Zhen Yun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Andres van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Ali Yücesan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Andres van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for H4K.BR. With 68 minutes on the clock, Teodoro Peres commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 68th minute, one of MONTANHA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MONTANHA. H4K.BR's João Vítor da Costa was substituted for Orbay Kiner. H4K.BR's Reynaldo Travassos was substituted for Ahmet Ali Yücesan. H4K.BR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Zafiu in the 73rd minute. After taking down the ball on H4K.BR's corner Reynaldo Travassos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andres van der Sar quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Zhen Yun in the 74th minute of play forced MONTANHA's goalkeeper Andres van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Travassos in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres van der Sar saved MONTANHA from getting behind. The H4K.BR fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when H4K.BR's Reynaldo Travassos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andres van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Travassos's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Murillo Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes MONTANHA got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Martins. Andres van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Reynaldo Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. H4K.BR's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind MONTANHA's goalkeeper Andres van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of MONTANHA booed when H4K.BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Czeslaw Walec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Buccella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Zhen Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. H4K.BR's Antonio Buccella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Cardozo in the 94th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Czeslaw Walec got free with Antonio Buccella in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. H4K.BR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
