Modesto Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Paunero's goal looked a bit too open when Per Rolandsson came free, but Modesto Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Theodore came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Average Joes's Yavuz Bülent Özger. But to his dismay, Yavuz Bülent Özger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Yavuz Bülent Özger scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Theodore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Modesto Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent Özger in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Anier Haritz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paunero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Average Joes the free kick. Average Joes made a substitution. Jeremias Silban replaced Jo Blanchaert. Anier Haritz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Emilio Ruys short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Victoriano Abel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 30 minutes into the game, Emilio Ruy lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Victoriano Abel. Yavuz Bülent Özger hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Victoriano Abel made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cecilio Mel sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Zé Roberto Sousa got a free kick in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Silban in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Theodore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes, Arthur Saba made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Paunero's Modesto Theodore tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Average Joes were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Rolandsson made a kick off. Paunero made a substitution. Rodrigo Macario replaced Pastor Quirce. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Ruy in the 61st minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Löfgren in the 62nd minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Modesto Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Semeno to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Neto lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Paunero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Quexal in the 73rd minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Average Joes booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Macario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Rodrigo Macario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Abel skillfully saved the ball. Victoriano Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Semeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Quexal to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Abel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Semeno's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Paunero's Modesto Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Silban in the 96th minute of play. Victoriano Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Semeno in the 97th minute of play.

When the match was over Average Joes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paunero throughout the match.
