Christian Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Oinaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Altos Gatos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Raphael da Silveira put in a rough tackle. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 91 minutes Luganeros AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bonifacio Olle who took care of the corner kick. Rey Ronaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
