Nechifor Isbășoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kornél Hajdú tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Olo in the 20th minute of play forced Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Kornél Hajdú to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KINDERUZ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Barney Stinson hit a great ball. KINDERUZ's Isidoro Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bálint Benedek in the 24th minute of play. Isidoro Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from József Sallói, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kornél Hajdú made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Nechifor Isbășoiu sent off a good shot on target. Avelino Varanda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Kornél Hajdú made a huge save. Jerónimo Caeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Károly Selymes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Isidoro Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell József Sallói to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Máté Marton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szentgotthárd and the KINDERUZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute of the match KINDERUZ got a corner. Szentgotthárd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nechifor Isbășoiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. KINDERUZ's Teodosio Olo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kornél Hajdú in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
