Elias Cortes was slow to take the kick. During this time Rosendo Bottaro FC's players had a chance to rest. 12 minutes into the game, Sebastian Rainerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosendo Bottaro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paragüil FC the free kick. A collision led to Rosendo Bottaro FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sebastian Rainerio hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Paragüil FC's goalkeeper Silvio Hanni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Estevon. 16 minutes into the match, Rosendo Bottaro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Oliveiro came free, but Agustin Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Herrera came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvio Hanni could save by the left post. In the 31stth minute of the game Artemio Oliveiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosendo Bottaro FC's Agustin Maldonado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustin Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Oliveiro in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Artemio Oliveiro made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rosendo Bottaro FC's Agustin Maldonado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paragüil FC! After 51 minutes Paragüil FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elias Cortes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Elias Cortes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvio Hanni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Baumer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Paragüil FC's Paulino Manni got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Herrera in the 57th minute of play forced Paragüil FC's goalkeeper Silvio Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Paragüil FC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Olo. 63 minutes into the match, Rosendo Bottaro FC's goalkeeper Agustin Maldonado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Garoa. The Paragüil FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Paragüil FC's Ernesto Garoa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silvio Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Efrain Estevon hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Ernesto Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paragüil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustin Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rosendo Bottaro FC's 武桑锋 got a free kick in the 88th minute. A hard shot by Luis Fernendo from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Agustin Maldonado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 91st minute, Fabio Naelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Abel Baumer came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rosendo Bottaro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Baumer couldn't finish the play. Agustin Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Ernesto Garoa sent off a good shot on target. The Paragüil FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Paragüil FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
