Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bjurström in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes Húsares's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vladyslav Galuschak who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FC Kolos's Svyatoslav Musiyko getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 30th minute Lars Bjurström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match, Maksymilian Wydrych got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geovani Baiano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Florencio Ferran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Bjurström scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Quintyn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Bjurström to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Lars Bjurström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Quintyn was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Paulo Gasteiz made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Kolos's Kyrylo Yaxmanitskyi. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Bjurström in the 58th minute of play. Humberto Pacorro charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Pacorro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 66 minutes into the match, FC Kolos's Lars Bjurström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Quintyn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Húsares made a substitution. Teobaldo Ibon replaced Florencio Ferran. In the 68th minute FC Kolos were awarded a corner. Vladyslav Galuschak went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Kolos's Vladyslav Galuschak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Quintyn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Geovani Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Ibon in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Húsares booed when FC Kolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatoliy Musiyko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes FC Kolos got a freekick which was hit by Anatoliy Musiyko. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ubaldo Kismi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Húsares's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Kismi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovani Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Paulo Gasteiz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ubaldo Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Geovani Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Ibon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladyslav Galuschak lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Kolos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Húsares were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Kolos to leave the ground with a draw.
