Bruno Fonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lei Bin having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Lei Bin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Club Ibiza getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tomás Orlanda hit a great ball. Ştefan Vornicescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mero Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andries De Putter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Fonso came free, but Lei Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Fonso made a kick off. In the 51st minute Bruno Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Bin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Şenel Volkan hit a great ball. Lei Bin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Fonso went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Club Ibiza made a substitution. Beliran Poblaciones replaced Cacey 武磊. Club Ibiza's Tomás Orlanda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zeng Sang Chao, made in the 59th minute of the game. Lei Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Fonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Bruno Fonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Ibiza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. AFC United's Faustino Asprilla was substituted for Zeng Sang Chao. Club Ibiza made a substitution. Kazuo Koriotto replaced Bruno Fonso. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute Club Ibiza were awarded a corner. Mariano Ireno went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rafa Marques got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lei Bin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 90 minutes into the game, Club Ibiza's Kazuo Koriotto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lei Bin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Kazuo Koriotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Ibiza fully deserved thier win.
