The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Sílvio Pires in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Quilmes's Jacobo Lauro. 6 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Nataniel came free, but Eustaquio Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Nataniel in the 9th minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Quilmes got a corner. Baraja Española FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Nataniel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eustaquio Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Dionisio Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Baltasar Artaldo sped through Quilmes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adan Lartaun. After a rather tough play, Baraja Española FC's László Illés got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Nataniel in the 20th minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Braulio Barrionuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Barrionuevo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustaquio Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Barrionuevo in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Quilmes getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dionisio Laurendi hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Galtero came free, but Adan Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Nataniel made a kick off. Eustaquio Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邓荣洲, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Carlos Garcia put in a rough tackle. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Baraja Española FC! The referee gave Quilmes a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucas Nataniel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Baraja Española FC's Eustaquio Javiar. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Artaldo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adan Lartaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Lucas Nataniel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Baraja Española FC's Eustaquio Javiar. Eustaquio Javiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adan Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Artaldo in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Barrionuevo.
