Rui Avelar started the match with the kick off. Rui Avelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Fernandez came free, but Göran Bröms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Basilio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruquense FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maciej Ciemiega in the 13th minute. Ruquense FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after BRUGGE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maciej Ciemiega took the corner. 18 minutes into the game, one of BRUGGE FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrigai Guau, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 24 minutes of play, Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Göran Bröms was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basilio Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BRUGGE FC's Göran Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Helder Cadanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Fernandez in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göran Bröms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 莫正凌 kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, François-Xavier Dionnet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrigai Guau, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petrigai Guau in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck François-Xavier Dionnet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Basilio Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Maciej Ciemiega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruquense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maciej Ciemiega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Bröms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BRUGGE FC's Göran Bröms proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save BRUGGE FC from getting a goal against them. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Zagrodny in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's Helder Cadanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that François-Xavier Dionnet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basilio Fernandez in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göran Bröms saved BRUGGE FC from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Ciemiega came free, but Göran Bröms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Bröms was a little too slow when Maciej Ciemiega got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-2. BRUGGE FC's Imre Szabó was substituted for Petrigai Guau. 75 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Avelar came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Bröms didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maciej Ciemiega went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. BRUGGE FC's Florentino Cervera was substituted for Radoslaw Zagrodny. Göran Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Quirze in the 85th minute of the match. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Cervera in the 92nd minute of play. BRUGGE FC's Florentino Cervera got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. François-Xavier Dionnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Szabó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BRUGGE FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Ruquense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mahmut Aurelio took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mahmut Aurelio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this François-Xavier Dionnet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Ruquense FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ruquense FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
