The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Indartsu got free with Silvestre Ulizes in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Efrain Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mark Schwarzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Victoriano Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Schwarzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Schwarzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Tonete in the 22nd minute of play. Efrain Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Efrain Roldan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Te Moriste en Madrid's Mark Schwarzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Te Moriste en Madrid booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Ulizes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Dahleb, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Celestino Gau made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Victoriano Tonete immediately put the ball in play. Mark Schwarzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CERPA were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Te Moriste en Madrid's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Natalio Kusko took the corner. The supporters of Te Moriste en Madrid booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Sasoin's late challenge caught a CERPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Sasoin helped the player get up and apologised. Florentino Sasoin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. CERPA's Silvestre Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Dahleb in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Te Moriste en Madrid fans cheered their team off the field, for while CERPA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
