Göran Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Stenman in the 8th minute of play forced BRUGGE FC's goalkeeper Göran Bröms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germán Luz came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by BRUGGE FC's Radoslaw Zagrodny. But to his dismay, Radoslaw Zagrodny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Malcolm Stenman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Göran Bröms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BRUGGE FC's Göran Bröms proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save BRUGGE FC from getting a goal against them. Germán Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Avelar in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Malcolm Stenman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Turro's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Stenman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Bröms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Turro's Germán Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrigai Guau in the 25th minute of play. Göran Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baron Yu in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Stenman came free, but Göran Bröms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Stenman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Turro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto Thuram was slow to take the kick. During this time BRUGGE FC's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Malcolm Stenman took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Göran Bröms to make any attempt to save it. Amancio Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

In the 56th minute of the match, Helder Cadanes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Germán Luz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Germán Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helder Cadanes's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The supporters of Deportivo Turro booed when BRUGGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imre Szabó didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BRUGGE FC's zone, Qi Sheng Chong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Bröms came out of the goal and Qi Sheng Chong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Göran Bröms came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Turro's Malcolm Stenman. But to his dismay, Malcolm Stenman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Göran Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Stenman in the 74th minute of the match. Petrigai Guau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germán Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Göran Bröms didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Stenman went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. BRUGGE FC's Florentino Cervera was substituted for Radoslaw Zagrodny. In the 93rd minute Malcolm Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helder Cadanes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Deportivo Turro were victorious despite being under pressure from BRUGGE FC for much of the match.
