Göran Bröms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Santos in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petrigai Guau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, BRUGGE FC's Radoslaw Zagrodny made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Eufrasio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosendo Eufrasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Zagrodny, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Alvise Biancone's late challenge caught a BRUGGE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 77th minute Petrigai Guau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Radoslaw Zagrodny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Eufrasio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 92 minutes Alvoha FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Thuram who took care of the corner kick.
