An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Roldan in the 6th minute of play forced Capitan Beto's goalkeeper Elvio Opilano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Ramon Richie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Silvestre Ulizes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, CERPA's Ignacio Viviano got a free kick in the 14th minute. Efrain Roldan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Efrain Roldan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elvio Opilano, 1-1. Aristides Erasto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Ramon Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Capitan Beto's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Roldan came free, but Elvio Opilano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Efrain Roldan sped through Capitan Beto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elvio Opilano. CERPA's Silvestre Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Richie in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Volle got free with Elvio Opilano in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Douglas Denturck kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Capitan Beto defense, Flavio Orkatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Opilano. The Capitan Beto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Opilano should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efrain Roldan to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Capitan Beto defense, Wilhelm Volle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Opilano. The Capitan Beto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Opilano should have stopped the shot. Elvio Opilano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Richie in the 60th minute of play forced CERPA's goalkeeper Silvestre Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Ramon Richie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Ulizes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. In the 67th match minute, Capitan Beto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Capitan Beto's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Roldan came free, but Elvio Opilano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Saverio Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Opilano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Volle, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Richie came free, but Silvestre Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Richie in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Ulizes saved CERPA from getting behind. Elvio Opilano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Orlando Elivareo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 91st match minute, Capitan Beto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Roldan in the 97th minute of play forced Capitan Beto's goalkeeper Elvio Opilano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Ulizes having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CERPA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Capitan Beto had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
