None of the them looked very eager to play. 叶平卫 started the match with the kick off. Luis Tancredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Lartaun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Marciano Fagondo came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilmes's Ismael Dolcet. But to his dismay, Ismael Dolcet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Adan Lartaun had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Tómas Planet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Gil in the 15th minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Adan Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 20 minutes Tricolor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Nataniel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Quilmes's corner Lucas Nataniel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marciano Fagondo quite easily take care of the ball. Leo Gumaro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Ismael Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quilmes's Adan Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Gil in the 34th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Lordi came free, but Adan Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Quilmes booed when Tricolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. 叶平卫 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Gumaro during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tricolor's Leo Gumaro got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 57th match minute, Tricolor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. Tricolor's Marciano Fagondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Dolcet in the 59th minute of play. Tómas Planet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Adan Lartaun made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Horacio Francis made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Fagondo. Tricolor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 67 minutes into the match, Tricolor's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Francis came free, but Marciano Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adan Lartaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Gil in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Tricolor booed when Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Laurendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionisio Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Adan Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Gil in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 played minutes Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Dolcet. When Tómas Planet came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Tricolor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tómas Planet couldn't finish the play. Quilmes's Horacio Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Francis in the 93rd minute of play forced Tricolor's goalkeeper Marciano Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tricolor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quilmes.
