In the 3rd minute, Diego Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduino Cordoba came free, but Marcelo Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno da Mata in the 8th minute of play forced Couto Mixto F.C.'s goalkeeper Christopher Langford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Cordairo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eneko Quesada's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Couto Mixto F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nereo Tobia in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Couto Mixto F.C.'s Eneko Quesada got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Eneko Quesada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Blain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Cordairo having to make a save. Marcelo Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneko Quesada in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas AFC's zone, Eduino Cordoba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Cordairo came out of the goal and Eduino Cordoba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breno da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Nereo Tobia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Eduino Cordoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Couto Mixto F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copetonas AFC the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Couto Mixto F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduino Cordoba to maneuver through the defense. If Jeronimo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Copetonas AFC were awarded a corner. Jeronimo Franco went to the cornerflag to take it. Copetonas AFC's Jeronimo Franco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christopher Langford in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Copetonas AFC's Marcelo Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Tobia in the 45th minute of play. If Pompiliu Ciutacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Tobia got free with Marcelo Cordairo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 played minutes Copetonas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Illan. After 58 played minutes Couto Mixto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Llorian Blazquez. In the 59th minute of the match Kostas Paxinos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christopher Langford showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match, Eneko Quesada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcelo Cordairo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With 67 minutes on the clock, Diego Illan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Couto Mixto F.C. made a substitution. Gabriel-Omar Bati replaced Nereo Tobia. In a very dangerous position, a player in Copetonas AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Copetonas AFC defense, Eduino Cordoba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Cordairo. The Copetonas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Cordairo should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Copetonas AFC booed when Couto Mixto F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eneko Quesada didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Arko Thomaschewski sped through Couto Mixto F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christopher Langford. In the 90th minute Gabriel-Omar Bati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christopher Langford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arko Thomaschewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 99 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordairo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel-Omar Bati. The Couto Mixto F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Copetonas AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
