Lázaro Prestes might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Prestes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Prestes in the 7th minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, S.C.CHUÍ's Luis León ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwan Dziuma. Iwan Dziuma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Heide FC's Lázaro Prestes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Iwan Dziuma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Abreu in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Lázaro Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 24 in the game by Joris Scheer from a close distance when the talented Iwan Dziuma managed to make a qualified save. Heide FC's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Scheer got free with Iwan Dziuma in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joris Scheer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Iwan Dziuma made a huge save. Julian Bejrut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Cerezo having to make a save. The throw-in from Leszek Sakowicz in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by S.C.CHUÍ's Carlos Gamarra. After 47 played minutes Heide FC got a freekick which was hit by Witold Hodyl. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Prestes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Heide FC got a freekick which was hit by Witold Hodyl. Bernardinho Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardinho Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. S.C.CHUÍ's Laércio Vieira was substituted for Caetano Paranaense. S.C.CHUÍ's Elder Donatello was substituted for Luis León. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joris Scheer in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Dziuma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwan Dziuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Abreu in the 94th minute of play.
