Lanzenkirchen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolai Nowak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lanzenkirchen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Karl-Michael Almqvist scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Åke Brummer, making the score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fang Bin Tian made a kick off. Edgar Ciolofan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Brummer having to interfere. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lanzenkirchen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brent Desmet was slow to take the kick. During this time Forza Heppenbach's players had a chance to rest. Stephan Appiah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Åke Brummer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Appiah's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Fang Bin Tian might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Åke Brummer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fang Bin Tian ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Appiah in the 94th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Brummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Appiah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Appiah came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
