Henrique Prata came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Montevideo City Torque's Yves Passot. But to his dismay, Yves Passot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Grêmio Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ticho Covarrubias in the 18th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Henrique Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Troxler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Lehen in the 19th minute. Yves Passot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Prata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Cristian Leizaur kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Lehen in the 29th minute of play. Henrique Prata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Leizaur went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Wei Shu Gang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Yves Passot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Prata was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Lehen in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowen Doherty in the 45th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yves Passot was the one to do the kick off. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Passot in the 51st minute of play. If Wei Shu Gang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
