The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Poland's Zdzislaw Kręcina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brendan Leblanc. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Zdzislaw Kręcina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Brendan Leblanc made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Chris Lindstrøm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kingpins's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Lindstrøm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Wojtyna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Lundgren came free, but Tanek Wojtyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Guo Ke Peng came free, but Tanek Wojtyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brendan Leblanc made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Zdzislaw Kręcina sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

U21 Poland's Zbigniew Pincoski was substituted for Stanislaw Maziarski. After 53 minutes Kingpins's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariusz Truskovskiy who took care of the corner kick. Brendan Leblanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Kręcina in the 56th minute of play. Brendan Leblanc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rusi Moskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Witold Bycofski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Brendan Leblanc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanek Wojtyna was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Rickard Lundgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rickard Lundgren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Zbigniew Boniek made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stanislaw Modliszewski. 76 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Lindstrøm came free, but Tanek Wojtyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brendan Leblanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Kręcina in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goalkeeper Tanek Wojtyna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Lundgren. Kingpins's Elliot Wallin was substituted for Ove Ahlström. Kingpins made a substitution. Bo Kruuse replaced Rickard Lundgren. U21 Poland's Tanek Wojtyna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Poland from getting a goal against them. Brendan Leblanc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusi Moskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanek Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Kruuse in the 95th minute of the match. Brendan Leblanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Moskal in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kingpins walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
