The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes El Torero got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Kinsen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Trojanowski got free with Sergio Goycochea in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in El Torero's zone, Rolando Jax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Goycochea came out of the goal and Rolando Jax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Kazimierz Trojanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Loco Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Barrionuevo in the 22nd minute of the match. Loco Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 42 minutes into the match, El Globo Tiene Aguante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Suero came free, but Loco Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes in the game, Alejo Suero dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. El Torero's Sergio Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Trojanowski in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Eduardo Barrionuevo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, El Torero's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Trojanowski came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Globo Tiene Aguante FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Trojanowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, El Globo Tiene Aguante FC's goalkeeper Loco Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Pruss. The audience was convinced that Kazimierz Trojanowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Goycochea was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Kazimierz Trojanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Pruss got free with Loco Buffon in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Trojanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Trojanowski in the 82nd minute of play.
