After a defensive mix-up in Ciseski‘s's zone, Dariusz Nalaskowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão de Moraes came out of the goal and Dariusz Nalaskowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Romário stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fire Devils's Odysseus Lindenmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Romário in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Yanniek Van Laeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciseski‘s and the Fire Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ciseski‘s's Yanniek Van Laeck got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Narcis Druță shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustão de Moraes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Ciseski‘s's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Gaúcho came free, but Faustão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Romário succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 68thth minute of the game Iosif Vornic who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iosif Vornic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Faustão de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Ciseski‘s's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Vornic came free, but Faustão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Vornic in the 80th minute of play. The Fire Devils fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Fire Devils's Iosif Vornic looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Sven-Arne Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Thiago Silvar fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciseski‘s's protests and gave Thiago Silvar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Thiago Silvar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fire Devils had played much better football throughout.
