Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Pierres in the 5th minute of play. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes, Paulo Pierres made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Fiszer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Paulo Pierres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dražen Ladić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Marcelo Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Pierres to make the kick off. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pierres in the 68th minute of play. Marcial Orlandus made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Marcelo Cordero sent off a good shot on target. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Paulo Pierres sped through Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dražen Ladić. Guanacos's Remigio Ler was substituted for Marcelo Mendebal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Zheng Jing Feng replaced Marcelo Cordero. Guanacos made a substitution. Denis Pello replaced Danilo Sanchez. When Conor Gallagher fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's protests and gave Conor Gallagher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Pinto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Sebastian Pinto got a free kick in the 85th minute. Arnoldo Tonete kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Estevão Benevides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Orlandus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Remigio Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Guanacos's corner Ricardo Hug fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dražen Ladić quite easily take care of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Ler came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Ekaitz during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estevão Benevides got free with Marcial Orlandus in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

There was no doubt that Guanacos were the better team. Guanacos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
