After a rather tough play, Stat Veritas FC's Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı got a free kick in the 7th minute. Raigo Vananurm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Erramun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Ciriaco Tanio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Naldo Proença came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciriaco Tanio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Raigo Vananurm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raigo Vananurm in the 18th minute of play. Justo Montrel hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, Stat Veritas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Montrel to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Fausto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Tomas Wallin in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stat Veritas FC's Justo Montrel. Stat Veritas FC's attentive Justo Montrel managed to snatch the ball when Tomas Wallin made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Raigo Vananurm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scarlet Speedster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Naldo Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Tanio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mauricio Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekialde Nadal in the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Ekialde Nadal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauricio Erramun. Ekialde Nadal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Mauricio Erramun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raigo Vananurm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Raigo Vananurm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Erramun was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Raigo Vananurm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Dantae took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naldo Proença. Naldo Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ekialde Nadal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Mauricio Erramun made a huge save. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Ekialde Nadal in Scarlet Speedster was the one to initiate the kick off. Mauricio Erramun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raigo Vananurm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 106th minute Raigo Vananurm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Stat Veritas FC booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 107 match minutes in a wonderful position. 3-2 became the score in the 118th minute when Fernando Dantae elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Stat Veritas FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
