After 9 played minutes, Sporting Buceo's Juan Sartori shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Spase Kastrati came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sultan-Mehmet Khan to make the kick off. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Gustavo Mourato got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goalkeeper Spase Kastrati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Jakue. Maximo Horquizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sultan-Mehmet Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Sultan-Mehmet Khan came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sultan-Mehmet Khan might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Horquizar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Xavies Casavela replaced Rainier Gregoire. Sporting Buceo's Segundo Aureo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ville Manneroos, made in the 81st minute of the game. Spase Kastrati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maureen Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spase Kastrati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maureen Franco in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maureen Franco in the 87th minute of play forced ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goalkeeper Spase Kastrati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Xinto Carreiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spase Kastrati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goal looked a bit too open when Xinto Carreiras came free, but Spase Kastrati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ✩ Pep Team ✩ defense, Maureen Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Spase Kastrati. The ✩ Pep Team ✩ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Spase Kastrati should have stopped the shot.

108 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goal looked a bit too open when Maureen Franco came free, but Spase Kastrati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 109 minutes, Gustavo Mourato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Mourato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Sultan-Mehmet Khan did a quick kick off. In the 119th minute, Valdemar Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 122 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goal looked a bit too open when Maureen Franco came free, but Spase Kastrati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 127 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Mourato came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 128th minute, Maureen Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ✩ Pep Team ✩'s zone, Maureen Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spase Kastrati came out of the goal and Maureen Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The score was 2-4 after a penalty in the 143rd minute, where ✩ Pep Team ✩:s Gustavo Mourato tricked Sporting Buceo:s Maximo Horquizar with a difficult ball by the left post. The goalkeeper, Spase Kastrati, was totally fooled by Sporting Buceo's Xinto Carreiras, who 144 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Sporting Buceo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
