GAÚCHO FC's Raí Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Thake in the 43rd minute of play. Raí Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Testaferrata Viani, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Thake was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Lorden in the 132nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Lentini prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The referee gave GAÚCHO FC a penalty, 134 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raí Seco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini. 2-1. In the 136th minute, the referee gave Floriana Celtics a penalty. Kyle Thake looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Raí Seco. The goalkeeper, Richard Lentini, was totally fooled by GAÚCHO FC's Vilhelm Lorden, who 137 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 140th minute there was a penalty for GAÚCHO FC. Valério Netto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Richard Lentini. 4-2. When the match had been going on for 142 minutes, Floriana Celtics's Alex Testaferrata Viani got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Raí Seco. Richard Lentini had in the 143rdth minute some difficulties stopping Marcus Prata's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience cheered when Marcus Prata's long shot passed Richard Lentini's right side. It was 5-3, 143 minutes into the match.
