After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Liverpool F.C. YNWA made a substitution. Panos Zounis replaced Tilemachos Romanidis. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ata Bircan was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goalkeeper Alisson Becker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ysmael Celerain. But to his dismay, Dominik Zawacki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Ysmael Celerain in Club Vertigo was the one to initiate the kick off. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. 107 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goal looked a bit too open when Ysmael Celerain came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Sidiropoulos in the 109th minute of play. If Dominik Zawacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 110th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 113 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goal looked a bit too open when Ysmael Celerain came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 123rd minute of the game. One of Club Vertigo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Liverpool F.C. YNWA:s goal. The referee gave Liverpool F.C. YNWA a penalty, 124 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dominik Zawacki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil. 2-1. Club Vertigo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
