The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tor-Ivar Storm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Barroso. Portucale H5's António Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Buinton in the 8th minute of play. Tor-Ivar Storm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Mikolas in the 10th minute of play. Portucale H5 were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Shark FC - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nuno Vale took the corner. Tor-Ivar Storm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Mikolas in the 13th minute of the match. Tor-Ivar Storm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Mikolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Buinton in the 28th minute of play forced Portucale H5's goalkeeper António Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Maximo Mikolas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Bartolo Buinton notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Portucale H5's António Pimenta. António Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tor-Ivar Storm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Mikolas in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Aníbal Barroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tor-Ivar Storm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximo Mikolas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tor-Ivar Storm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Barroso in the 51st minute of play. In the 75th minute Nuno Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor-Ivar Storm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seth Fulton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Tiago dos Santos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amdi Hjortboe, made in the 79th minute of the game. António Pimenta came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Shark FC - FSCMZ's Marco Vianna. But to his dismay, Marco Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marco Vianna might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Pimenta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Vianna ran back to his position shaking his head. António Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Maximo Mikolas charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Mikolas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Portucale H5 got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Mikolas. Oscar Montaña struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. António Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shark FC - FSCMZ. In the 89th match minute, Portucale H5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc-Aurèle Barde to maneuver through the defense. Shark FC - FSCMZ's George Pogba got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Marco Vianna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Pimenta was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.

Shark FC - FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
